Project Overview

For Butterfly Network, we led the visual direction and production of product imagery for Butterfly Move, a portable ultrasound system designed to enhance mobility and efficiency in modern clinical environments. The objective was to create a clear, contemporary visual language that communicated both the technological precision of the device and its adaptability across diverse medical workflows.

Working in close collaboration with the Butterfly team, we developed a cohesive visual approach that aligned with the brand’s established identity while emphasizing clarity, usability, and innovation. The resulting imagery was designed to support digital product pages, marketing materials, and web applications, reinforcing the product’s role as a flexible, point-of-care imaging solution built for real-world clinical use.

Concept & Approach

The visual strategy centered on clarity, mobility, and usability—key characteristics of the Butterfly Move system. Compositions were intentionally structured to highlight the device’s modular design and portability, supporting visual narratives that reflect real-world clinical workflows.

Controlled lighting and clean compositions were used to reduce visual noise and emphasize the device’s ergonomic design and technological precision. Particular attention was given to maintaining visual consistency with existing brand standards, ensuring that the imagery integrated seamlessly into digital interfaces and product communications.

The resulting visual system positioned the product as both technically advanced and intuitively designed, reinforcing its function as a modern imaging solution built for fast-moving clinical environments.
