Sustainable Lifestyle Tracking App


360 Carbon is a mobile application concept designed to help individuals better understand and reduce their environmental impact through daily lifestyle tracking. Developed using the existing brand framework of the 360 nonprofit, the project explores how digital interfaces can empower users to make informed, sustainable decisions.

The app tracks daily carbon usage based on transportation habits, consumption patterns, and lifestyle behaviors, translating complex environmental data into accessible, actionable insights. By combining user-centered workflows with intuitive visual design, the experience encourages long-term engagement and measurable behavior change.




 


Concept & Approach

The visual language was designed to feel approachable, informative, and data-driven while maintaining clarity across multiple user scenarios. The interface incorporates modular components and clear typographic hierarchy to support both data visualization and guided decision-making.

User flows were structured to simplify complex inputs—such as commuting habits and consumption patterns—while delivering personalized sustainability recommendations based on location and behavior. The design system maintains consistency with the 360 brand identity while introducing a modernized interface optimized for mobile interaction.







Application & User Experience

The project includes a full set of user journeys, from onboarding and lifestyle assessment to real-time carbon tracking and personalized recommendations. Dashboard interfaces provide users with visual feedback on daily emissions, while adaptive prompts encourage small, achievable behavior changes.

Design decisions prioritized usability, accessibility, and clarity—ensuring that environmental data remains understandable and actionable across diverse user groups.
